Chase County is a one of the county from Kansas's 105 counties, located in Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. As per the 2000 census, county has a population of 3030 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 2804, making it Kansas's 17th smallest county. The county has a total area of 778.01 mi˛ (2015.04 sq km), of which, 775.89 square miles (2009.55 sq km) of it is land and 2.12 square miles (5.49 sq km) of it is water, making it Kansas's 50th largest county by total area.

As of July 2008, the estimated population of the county is 2804, The racial or ethnic makeup of the county was 96.68% White, 1.39% Black or African American, 0.82% American Indian, 0.14% Asian, 0% Native Hawaiian, and 0.96% from two or more races.
