Charlevoix County is a county in the United States of Michigan. Charlevoix County had an official population of 26090 in 2000. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the county is 25936, giving it the 54th largest population among Michigan's county. It has total area of 1390.76 square miles (3602.05 sq km), of which, 416.84 square miles (1079.61 sq km) of it is land and 973.92 square miles (2522.44 sq km) of it is water, it is the 23rd largest in terms of geographical size.
