Charlestown Cdp is a census designated place located in the Sullivan County, New Hampshire, United States. As per the 2000 census, census designated place has a population of 1145 inhabitants. It is seventh least populous in New Hampshire. The census designated place encompasses an area of 0.88 mi˛ (2.28 sq km ), of which, 0.84 square miles (2.18 sq km) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 sq km) of it is water, it is the smallest by area in the U.S. state of New Hampshire.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1145 people, 468 households, and 302 families living in the census designated place.
