Charleston City, Mississippi is a city of the Tallahatchie County, Mississippi, United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 2198 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 1882, It is the 115th largest by population in the U.S. state of Mississippi. It has total area of 1.37 sq mi (3.55 kmē), of which, 1.36 square miles (3.52 kmē) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 kmē) of it is water, giving it the 220th largest by total area among Mississippi.
