Charleston City is a city located in the Franklin County, Arkansas, United States. Charleston City had an official population of 2965 in 2000. The July 2008 population estimate is 3028, making it Arkansas's 98th largest. It is spread over 4.28 miē (11.09 kmē), of which, 4.2 square miles (10.88 kmē ) of it is land and 0.08 square miles (0.21 kmē) of it is water, giving it the 125th largest by total area among Arkansas.
