Charleroi Borough is a one of the Washington County, Pennsylvania, located in Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. It is home to over 4871 people (2000 census). Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 4549, It is the 287th largest in terms of population. It has total area of 0.86 square miles (2.23 kmē), of which, 0.77 square miles (1.99 kmē) of it is land and 0.09 square miles (0.23 kmē) of it is water, it is the 814th largest by area in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania.
