The census designated place comprises an area of 5.98 sq mi (15.49 square kilometre), of which, 5.82 square miles (15.07 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.17 square miles (0.44 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 106th largest by area in the U.S. state of Louisiana.
