Ceredo City is a city in the Wayne County, West Virginia, United States. In 2000, the population was 1675. In July 2008, its estimated population was 1586, It is 97th most populous in West Virginia. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.02 miē (5.23 kmē), of which, 1.34 square miles (3.47 kmē) of it is land and 0.68 square miles (1.76 kmē) of it is water, making it West Virginia's 87th largest by total area. It is ranks tenth in the size of its inland waterways in West Virginia.
