Central Falls City is a city in the Providence County, Rhode Island, United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Central Falls City is home to 18928 inhabitants. In July 2008, its estimated population was 18683, It is the 11th largest in terms of population. The city has a total area of 1.29 sq mi (3.34 square kilometre), of which, 1.21 square miles (3.13 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.08 square miles (0.21 square kilometre) of it is water, making it the second smallest by size in Rhode Island.

As of the census of 2000, there were 18928 people, 6696 households, and 4356 families residing in the city. The population density was 15652 people per square mile (6043.27/kmē), it is Rhode Island's most densely populated city. There were 7270 housing units at an average density of 6008.3 per square mile (2319.82/kmē). The average household size was 2.74 people, and the average family size was 3.38 people.
