Central City City is a city located in the Lawrence County, South Dakota, United States. In 2000, the population was 149. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 138, making it the 114th least populous in South Dakota. The city spans an area of 0.14 sq mi (0.36 sq km), it is the 14th smallest by area in the U.S. state of South Dakota.
