Central City City, Muhlenberg County, Kentucky is a city located in the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. The city has a population of 5893 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 5698, It is 79th most populous in Kentucky. Its area is just over 5.23 square miles (13.55 sq km), it is the 81st largest by area in the U.S. state of Kentucky.
