Central City City is a city located in the Gilpin County, Colorado, United States. Central City City had an official population of 515 in 2000. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 566, making it the 96th least populous in Colorado. The city has a total area of 1.89 sq mi (4.9 kmē), it is the 172nd largest by area in the U.S. state of Colorado.
