Central City Borough is a borough located in Somerset County, Pennsylvania, in the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. The borough has a population of 1258 as per the 2000 census data. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the borough is 1160, making it the 792nd most populous in Pennsylvania. It covers total area of 0.54 square miles (1.4 kmē), making it Pennsylvania's 356th smallest by total area.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1258 people, 538 households, and 362 families living in the borough. The population density was 2325.6 people per square mile (897.92/kmē), it would be the 553rd most densely populated borough in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania.
