It is New York's 270th largest by population . The census designated place extends throughout a territory of 5.43 square miles (14.06 kmē ), of which, 5.01 square miles (12.98 kmē) of it is land and 0.42 square miles (1.09 kmē) of it is water, it is the 171st largest by area in the U.S. state of New York.
