Center Hill City is one of the city of Sumter County, Florida, located towards the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 910 inhabitants. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 1106, making it the 139th least populous in Florida. It is spread over 1.77 sq mi (4.58 kmē), of which, 1.71 square miles (4.43 kmē ) of it is land and 0.06 square miles (0.16 kmē) of it is water, it is the 252nd smallest by area in the U.S. state of Florida.

According to 2000 Census Bureau, there were 910 residents, 282 households, and 212 families in the city. The population density was 531.8 people per square mile (205.33/kmē), making its Florida's 171st least densely populated city. There were 319 housing units at an average density of 186.5 per square mile (72.01/kmē). It has an average household size was 3.2 persons, and the average family size was 3.63 persons.
