Cedar Lake Town is a town located in Lake County, Indiana, in the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. In 2000, the population was 9279. In July 2008, its estimated population was 10981, It is the 78th largest in terms of population. The town extends throughout a territory of 8.12 square miles (21.03 square kilometre ), of which, 6.79 square miles (17.59 square kilometre) of it is land and 1.32 square miles (3.42 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the 59th largest by total area in Indiana. It is ranks 12 in the size of its inland waterways in Indiana.
