Cedar Hill City is one of the city of Dallas and Ellis counties, Texas, located towards the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. Cedar Hill City had an official population of 32093 in 2000. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 44786, giving it the 77th largest population among Texas. The city extends throughout a territory of 35.24 sq mi (91.27 square kilometre ), of which, 35.15 square miles (91.04 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.09 square miles (0.23 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 63rd largest by area in the U.S. state of Texas.
