Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 1051, It is 339th most populous in Georgia. It is spread over 4.03 mi˛ (10.44 sq km), of which, 4.02 square miles (10.41 sq km ) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 sq km) of it is water, it is the 203rd largest by area in the U.S. state of Georgia.
