Catoosa County is a county located in Georgia, in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. The population of the county was 53282 as per the 2000 census data. Its population was estimated at 62825 in July 2008, It is 36th most populous county in Georgia. The county spans an area of 162.66 sq mi (421.29 square kilometre), of which, 162.23 square miles (420.17 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.44 square miles (1.14 square kilometre) of it is water, giving it the seventh smallest by total area among Georgia's county.
