Cassopolis Village is one of the city of Cass County, Michigan, located towards the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 1740 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 1920, making it Michigan's 343rd largest. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.93 mi˛ (5 sq km), of which, 1.75 square miles (4.53 sq km) of it is land and 0.18 square miles (0.47 sq km) of it is water, it is the 331st largest in terms of geographical size.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1740 people, 703 households, and 438 families residing in the city. The population density was 994.1 people per square mile (383.82/km˛), giving it the 357th most densely populated city among the Michigan. There were 780 housing units at an average density of 445.7 per square mile (172.09/km˛). The average household size was 2.47 persons, and the average family size was 3.13 persons. Age range in the city was well distributed with 30% under the age of 18, 8.7% from 18 to 24, 29% from 25 to 44, 21.1% from 45 to 64, and 11.1% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 89.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 83.2 males. The median age of the city's population was 34.1 years, the median age of male residents at 33.2 and the median age of female residents at 34.6. The racial makeup of the city was 950 White, 567 Black or African American, 10 American Indian, 63 Asian, Native Hawaiian, 136 from two or more races and 14 Ohter races.
