Cassadaga Village is a city located in Chautauqua County, New York, in the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. In 2000, city's population was 676 inhabitants. In July 2008, its estimated population was 630, It is the 165th smallest by population in the U.S. state of New York. It is spread over 1.06 square miles (2.75 sq km), of which, 0.88 square miles (2.28 sq km ) of it is land and 0.17 square miles (0.44 sq km) of it is water, it is the 258th smallest by area in the U.S. state of New York.

As of the census of 2000, there were 676 people in the city, organized into 277 households, and 187 families residing in the city. In the city the population was distributed as follows: 22.8% under the age of 18, 5.9% from 18 to 24, 28.3% from 25 to 44, 25.1% from 45 to 64, and 17.9% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 101.8 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 96.2 males. The median age was 41.5 years, the median age of male residents at 39.7 and the median age of female residents at 43.5. The racial makeup of the city was 96.89% White, 0% Black or African American, 0.3% American Indian, 0.44% Asian, 0% Native Hawaiian, 1.33% from two or more races and 1.04% Other races.
