Cass County is one of the 115 county of Missouri, located towards the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. In 2000, the population was 82092. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 98429, It is 11th most populous county in Missouri. It covers total area of 702.67 sq mi (1819.91 sq km), of which, 698.99 square miles (1810.38 sq km) of it is land and 3.68 square miles (9.53 sq km) of it is water, making it Missouri's 28th largest county by total area.
