Cascade City is a city in the Dubuque and Jones counties, Iowa, United States. The population of the city was 1958 as per the 2000 census data. The July 2008 population estimate is 2118, It is the 162nd most populous in the U.S. state of Iowa. It has total area of 1.13 miē (2.93 kmē), making it Iowa's 318th largest by total area.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1958 people, 776 households, and 511 families residing in the city.
