As of July 2008, the estimated population was 991, making it the 79th most populous in Idaho. It has total area of 4.2 square miles (10.88 kmē), of which, 3.61 square miles (9.35 kmē) of it is land and 0.59 square miles (1.53 kmē) of it is water, giving it the 31st largest by total area among Idaho. It is ranks fifth in the size of its inland waterways in Idaho.
