Carson City is a city located in Los Angeles County, California, in the Western Region (Pacific) of United States. In 2000, city's population was 89730 inhabitants. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 92366, making it California's 71st largest. It covers total area of 18.97 sq mi (49.13 kmē), of which, 18.84 square miles (48.8 kmē) of it is land and 0.12 square miles (0.31 kmē) of it is water, making it the 168th largest by size in California.
