Carroll County, Ohio is a county located in the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. As per the 2000 census, county has a population of 28836 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 28439, giving it the 12th smallest population among Ohio's county. The county comprises an area of 399.01 sq mi (1033.43 square kilometre), of which, 394.67 square miles (1022.19 square kilometre) of it is land and 4.33 square miles (11.21 square kilometre) of it is water, making it the smallest by size in Ohio.
