Carroll County is a county located in the United States of Arkansas. As of 2000 the population was 25357. In July 2008, its estimated population was 27557, It is the 23rd largest in terms of population. It covers total area of 638.81 square miles (1654.51 square kilometre), of which, 630.27 square miles (1632.39 square kilometre) of it is land and 8.54 square miles (22.12 square kilometre) of it is water, giving it the 44th largest by total area among Arkansas's county.

Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 27557, The racial or ethnic makeup of the county was 26635 White, 138 Black or African American, 296 American Indian, 115 Asian, 24 Native Hawaiian, and 349 from two or more races.
