Carlisle Town, Sullivan County, Indiana is a town located in the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 2660. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 677, It is 174th most populous in Indiana. The town extends throughout a territory of 0.54 square miles (1.4 kmē ), it is the 397th largest by area in the U.S. state of Indiana.
