Cape Canaveral City is a city located in Brevard County, Florida, in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Cape Canaveral City is home to 8829 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 10147, making it the 295th most populous in Florida. It has total area of 2.35 sq mi (6.09 sq km), of which, 2.33 square miles (6.03 sq km) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 sq km) of it is water, it is the 564th largest in terms of geographical size.
