Canton Village is a city located in the St. Lawrence County, New York, United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 5882 inhabitants. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 6077, making it New York's 299th largest. The city comprises an area of 3.34 miē (8.65 kmē), of which, 3.24 square miles (8.39 kmē) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.26 kmē) of it is water, making it New York's 342nd largest by total area.

As of the census of 2000, there were 5882 residents, 1531 households, and 797 families in the city. The population density was 1817.9 people per square mile (701.9/kmē), giving it the 434th most densely populated city among the New York.
