Canton City is a city in the Fulton County, Illinois, United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Canton City is home to 15288 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 14545, It is Illinois's 147th largest by population . It covers total area of 8.01 mi˛ (20.75 square kilometre), of which, 7.85 square miles (20.33 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.16 square miles (0.41 square kilometre) of it is water, making it the 113th largest by size in Illinois.
