Canon City is a city located in Franklin and Hart counties, Georgia, in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. The city has a population of 755 as per the 2000 census data. In July 2008, its estimated population was 812, It is the 373rd most populous in the U.S. state of Georgia. The city comprises an area of 3.18 sq mi (8.24 sq km), makes it the 254th largest by total area in Georgia.

As of the census of 2000, there were 755 people in the city, organized into 315 households, and 221 families living in the city. The population density was 237.5 people per square mile (91.7/kmē), it is the 123rd least populated city in terms of population density.
