Candler County is a one of the county from Georgia's 159 counties, located in Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. In 2000, the population was 9577. The July 2008 population estimate is 10580, It is the 37th smallest in terms of population. The county spans an area of 248.81 sq mi (644.41 square kilometre), of which, 246.88 square miles (639.42 square kilometre) of it is land and 1.94 square miles (5.02 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 35th smallest in terms of geographical size.
