Canby City is a city located in the Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, United States. The city has a population of 1903 as per the 2000 census data. Its population was estimated at 1710 in July 2008, It is the 245th largest by population in the U.S. state of Minnesota. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.18 square miles (5.65 kmē), of which, 2.17 square miles (5.62 kmē) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 kmē) of it is water, making it the 291st largest by size in Minnesota.
