Canadian County is a county located in Oklahoma, in the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 87697 inhabitants. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 106079, It is the fifth largest county by population in the U.S. state of Oklahoma. It covers total area of 905.17 sq mi (2344.38 square kilometre), of which, 899.71 square miles (2330.24 square kilometre) of it is land and 5.45 square miles (14.12 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the 31st largest by total area in Oklahoma.

In the county Age distribution was 28% under the age of 18, 8.2% from 18 to 24, 30.7% from 25 to 44, 23.5% from 45 to 64, and 9.5% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 99.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 97.7 males. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 106079, The racial makeup of the county was 92498 White, 3184 Black or African American, 4728 American Indian, 2675 Asian, 40 Native Hawaiian, and 2954 from two or more races.
