Campbell County is a county in the United States of Tennessee. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Campbell County is home to 39854 inhabitants. The county's estimated population as of July 2008 was 40936, It is the 37th largest in terms of population. The county spans an area of 498.25 miē (1290.46 kmē), of which, 480.07 square miles (1243.38 kmē) of it is land and 18.19 square miles (47.11 kmē) of it is water, it is the 42nd largest by area in the U.S. state of Tennessee.
