Camden City is a United States city located in the Camden County, New Jersey, United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Camden City is home to 79904 inhabitants. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 79383, It is the eighth most populous in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It has total area of 10.38 miē (26.88 kmē), of which, 8.82 square miles (22.84 kmē) of it is land and 1.56 square miles (4.04 kmē) of it is water, making it New Jersey's 35th largest by total area. It is ranks 18 in the size of its inland waterways in New Jersey.
