Cambria County is a county in the United States of Pennsylvania. In 2000, county's population was 152598 inhabitants. The county's estimated population as of July 2008 was 144319, making it the 24th most populous county in Pennsylvania. It has total area of 693.43 sq mi (1795.98 kmē), of which, 688.02 square miles (1781.96 kmē) of it is land and 5.41 square miles (14.01 kmē) of it is water, making it Pennsylvania's 31st largest county by total area.

As of the census of 2000, there were 152598 residents, 60531 households, and 40615 families in the county. The population density was 221.8 people per square mile (85.64/kmē), giving it the 24th most densely populated county among the Pennsylvania. There were 65796 housing units at an average density of 95.6 per square mile (36.91/kmē). It has an average household size was 2.38 persons, and the average family size was 2.96 persons. In the county the population is diverse age-wise, with 21% under the age of 18, 9% from 18 to 24, 26.2% from 25 to 44, 24.1% from 45 to 64, and 19.7% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 94.2 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 91.3 males. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the county is 144319, The racial makeup of the county was 137151 White, 5011 Black or African American, 158 American Indian, 796 Asian, 50 Native Hawaiian, and 1153 from two or more races.
