Camanche City is a city located in Clinton County, Iowa, in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. Camanche City had an official population of 4215 in 2000. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 4280, It is 89th most populous in Iowa. It is spread over 9.43 sq mi (24.42 kmē), of which, 8.72 square miles (22.58 kmē ) of it is land and 0.71 square miles (1.84 kmē) of it is water, it is the 31st largest in terms of geographical size. It is ranks 18 in the size of its inland waterways in Iowa.
