Calmar City is a one of the Winneshiek County, Iowa, located in Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. In 2000, the population was 1058. Its population was estimated at 1017 in July 2008, giving it the 213th smallest population among Iowa. The city has a total area of 1.05 square miles (2.72 sq km), making it Iowa's 134th smallest by total area.
