Calico Rock City is one of the city of Izard County, Arkansas, located towards the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. In 2000, city's population was 991 inhabitants. The July 2008 population estimate is 969, It is the 201st most populous in the U.S. state of Arkansas. The city encompasses an area of 3.63 square miles (9.4 sq km ), of which, 3.58 square miles (9.27 sq km) of it is land and 0.05 square miles (0.13 sq km) of it is water, giving it the 144th largest by total area among Arkansas.
