It is the 121st smallest by population in the U.S. state of Maryland. It has total area of 1.33 square miles (3.44 sq km), of which, 0.98 square miles (2.54 sq km) of it is land and 0.34 square miles (0.88 sq km) of it is water, making it the 120th smallest by size in Maryland.
