Byrnes Mill City is one of the city of Jefferson County, Missouri, located towards the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. In 2000, the population was 2376. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 2910, It is the 222nd most populous in the U.S. state of Missouri. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 5.09 mi˛ (13.18 sq km), of which, 4.96 square miles (12.85 sq km) of it is land and 0.14 square miles (0.36 sq km) of it is water, making it the 115th largest by size in Missouri.
