Byers City, Clay County, Texas is a city located in the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. It is home to over 517 people (2000 census). According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 510, giving it the 369th smallest population among Texas. Its area is just over 1 sq mi (2.59 kmē), of which, 0.98 square miles (2.54 kmē) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 kmē) of it is water, makes it the 288th smallest by total area in Texas.
