Butternut Village is a city in the Ashland County, Wisconsin, United States. The population of city in 2000 stood at 407 as per the Census data. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 386, It is the 102nd least populous in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. The city comprises an area of 1.6 mi˛ (4.14 sq km), it is the 365th largest by area in the U.S. state of Wisconsin.
