Burtonsville Cdp is a census designated place located in the Montgomery County, Maryland, United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 7305 inhabitants. It is 146th most populous in Maryland. It is spread over 7.97 sq mi (20.64 sq km), of which, 7.81 square miles (20.23 sq km ) of it is land and 0.15 square miles (0.39 sq km) of it is water, it is the 81st largest by area in the U.S. state of Maryland.
