Burnsville Town is one of the town of Tishomingo County, Mississippi, located towards the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. It is home to over 1034 people (2000 census). Its population was estimated at 1026 in July 2008, giving it the 177th largest population among Mississippi. It is spread over 4.77 sq mi (12.35 square kilometre), of which, 4.75 square miles (12.3 square kilometre ) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 114th largest by area in the U.S. state of Mississippi.
