Burlington City is a city located in Coffey County, Kansas, in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 2790 inhabitants. Its population was estimated at 2679 in July 2008, It is the 94th most populous in the U.S. state of Kansas. The city has a total area of 2.06 mi˛ (5.34 sq km), making it Kansas's 96th largest by total area.
