Burleson County, Texas is a county of the United States of Texas. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Burleson County is home to 16470 inhabitants. Its population was estimated at 16610 in July 2008, It is the 131st largest in terms of population. The county spans an area of 677.78 square miles (1755.44 square kilometre), of which, 665.54 square miles (1723.74 square kilometre) of it is land and 12.24 square miles (31.7 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the 29th smallest by total area in Texas.
