Burkeville Town is a one of the Nottoway County, Virginia, located in Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. The population of the town was 489 as per the 2000 census data. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 472, making it Virginia's 68th smallest. It has total area of 1.01 sq mi (2.62 kmē), of which, 1.01 square miles (2.62 kmē) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 kmē) of it is water, making it Virginia's 88th smallest by total area.
